Optic Fusion Inc. Completes SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type 1 Audit

Moss Adams LLP Completes Report on Controls at Optic Fusion, Inc, a Service Organization, Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality or Privacy

Tacoma, WA (February 18, 2013) — Moss Adams has completed an audit of Optic Fusion, Inc. in accordance with the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 Type 1 auditing standard.

The audit confirms that there is a level of assurance in the security and availability of Optic Fusion's system. The audit validated:

  • Security—the system is protected against physical and logical unauthorized access.
  • Availability—the system is available for operation and use as agreed upon.

The audit report may be used by Optic Fusion’s clients to demonstrate that they have:

  • Oversight of the organization
  • Vendor management program
  • Internal corporate governance and risk management processes
  • Regulatory oversight
The audit was conducted by Moss Adams LLP, an independent auditing firm, in accordance with standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The audit consisted of an examination of Optic Fusion’s Company description of their Tacoma Colocation Facility and the suitability of the design of controls in place as of October 3, 2012. At the conclusion of the examination Moss Adams issued a report on the description of Optic Fusion's system and suitability of the design of controls relevant to the Security and Availability trust services principles as selected by Optic Fusion management.
